About The Founder

Mona (16) is an activist for digital justice and gender equality. Mona approaches fighting for change through top-down policy advocacy and bottom-up grassroots efforts. She advocates for federal legislation that protects survivors of online sexual violence and criminalizes the creation of AI Deepfake Pornography and synthetic CSAM (Child Sexual Assault Material). She also strives to teach youth how to safely navigate today's online world where social media, big tech, and AI are posing as an extreme threat to her generation's health and safety, especially on girls. Mona is a member of PlanUSA's Youth Leadership Academy and is a Communications Lead for the Beach Cities Health District Youth Advisory Council.
